D & K Equipment offers many services to their valued customers.  We not only provide services on equipment, but we also provide training.  The following is only a preview of what we offer, please call and ask if there is a service that you need and it is not shown here.

Preventaive Maintenance:

The new year has started and it may be time for your equipment to get an oil change and possibly checking the air filters.

Why not try out our Preventative Maintenance Program.  Our PM Program includes regular oil and air filter changes, as well as an equipment check.  We check for anything that may cause your equipment to go down during those times you need the equipment most.

Don't be left without your equipment.  Always remember that if your equipment is down, your production goes down and you LOOSE MONEY! 

So keep your equipment running with our PM Program.  You never have to worry about "when do I need to service my forklift?"  We keep track of that for you. This is a worry free program that you can easily utilize at a very low cost!

Repairs:

For major components, repairs are usually done at one of our facilities.  For minor components, repairs are usually done at customers location.

Major repairs include, but not limited to:

engine

transmission

drive axle

drive and hydrualic motors

Minor repairs include, but not limited to:

lights, mirrors, backup alarms

seat, seatbelts, safety switches

tires, brakes

filter changes, tune ups

hydraulic hoses and fittings

install attachments

PARTS:

We offer and have access to thousands of used, new, and oftermarked parts.  If we do not have it in stock we can usually get parts next day (at customer request).  We also specialize in parts that are hard to find or may not be available anymore.

We carry a large variety of Manufacturer OEM parts as well as aftermarket parts.  We do also offer some used parts for a large selection of equipment.  We specialize in older and hard to find parts.

If the need arises, we can also have some specialty parts made.

DOT Inspectoins:

We have two fully certified DOT Inspectors.  One in Hibbing and one in Hermantown (Duluth), Minnesota.  Our State certified inspectors have gone through detailed training and are also able to make the repairs needed to bring your truck or trailor into regulation.

Spindel and Axle Repairs:

D & K Equipment is offering the service of spindel and axle

repairs for our customers that have an axle or spindel go bad.  We have a protable spindel and axle repair machine, so we can best serve our customers.  Our service technician is based out of Duluth and is fully trained.

D & K Equipment is offering metal preperation services.  We are fully capable of preparing many different types of metal for various needs.  We use a safe technique of high pressure water to clean and prepare metal serfaces for many needs.  Our service technician is fully trained to perform services.
